On August 31, Island Pond hosted the 19th annual Pond-A-Thon, drawing 153 athletes to compete in this unique event. Participants biked, ran, walked, and paddled their way through Brighton’s scenic landscapes, cheered on by crowds of family, friends, and community supporters.
From the burst of energy at the starting line, to the determined strides of runners, to the final paddle strokes across the lake, the day showcased both endurance and community spirit. My photos highlight not just the competition, but also the camaraderie and celebration that make this event such a staple in Island Pond.
